Issue: the upcoming presidential election Fact: 2-4 Supreme
Court Justices to be appointed during the next presidential administration. Question: Is it wise
to change presidents at this point in time given the worlds situation with
terrorism? Opinion: It
is not our policy at disABLEdperson Inc. to impose our political thoughts to our
community. Therefore, we will do our best not to guide your vote one way or the other in
the upcoming presidential election. We will however, lay out some things that we believe
you as a disabled individual need to think about before you cast your vote in November. First of all, it is
imperative that you get out and vote. Please, we beg you not to be complacent but to be
proactive. You have a voice, use it. The next president will more than likely appoint 2 if
not 4 justices to the Supreme Court. Please remember that these appointments are life
long. The justices will not be relieved of their duties if they are doing a bad job. The appointment of 2-4 justices can radically swing
the Court towards Conservatism or Liberalism. We ask you to search yourself and decide who
you are before you vote. If you are a
conservative but do not like what President Bush is doing in In our opinion, the
war on terrorism is going to be here regardless of who resides at Next, will it matter
who is in the White House starting in January of 2005 as it pertains to the war on terror? We urge you to read as much as you can about this
issue before you cast your vote. Some say that the terrorists know that they cant
push President Bush thats why no other attacks have occurred on
Issue- The 2004
Presidential Election As many of you are
aware, 2004 is a presidential election year. The
two candidates are set. The first is the incumbent George W. Bush ® and his opposition
John Kerry (D). The two are as different as
night and day. George Bush is a staunch
conservative. We know what he is. We know his values. We know how he handles himself under
pressure. Does he have faults? Yes! We all do. John Kerry on the
other hand is pretty much as Liberal as you can get. America has an idea of who he is and
what he is about. What we dont know is how he will handle himself in the crisis of
terror that the world is experiences? Will he
be as steadfast on the war on terror as Bush is? Opinion- Following
his victory, Mr. Bush was thrown into a very difficult presidency. Lets face it. Not
many presidents in our history have had to deal with as much as Mr. Bush. Did he do a good
job? Is the world a safer place now because
of the action Mr. Bush has taken over the last couple of years? Those are questions that
only you as individuals can answer for yourselves. We
at disABLEDperson Inc. only ask you to take the time to answer those questions for
yourselves before November. Did Mr. Bush ruin
the economy? We ask you before you decide to study the facts. True, we are now in debt
that we didnt have when he entered office. However,
never before was America in their current situation. Never before was our homeland
threatened as it is today. We are not taking a
side here. We are not about that and dont believe that it is our place to tell you
who to vote for. We only ask you to weigh all
the facts. Study the facts. Do not jump on a bandwagon of either candidate without first
fully studying about them. We are convinced that the next administration is going to be
vital to the security and safety of America. |
