We at disABLEDperson.com would love to publish your poetry.

Write poetry that relates to disability either from a physical, emotional or a financial standpoint. Write about how you overcame adversity pertaining to your disability. Write about getting the run around from an insurance company or anyone else. Your poetry may help other people in the same situation. Or, you simply submit any poetry that you have. Our only criteria is that your poetry does not exhibit sex or foul language. This is a family site.

We have certain criteria that you will have to meet to publish your poetry on our web site.

1. The poetry can be general in nature or be about some aspect of your disability.
2. There will not be any discussion about explicit sex in the any poetry published here.
3. There will not be any vulgarity published here as well.
4. The poem should be between 500-2000 words. This is a guideline. However, more or less within reason will be accepted.
5. All poems need to be sent to us electronically in the body of your email.

disABLEDperson Inc. reserves the right to publish or not to publish any poetry for whatever reason. The publisher retains the rights to the poem for a minimum of 180 days from the date of publishing. However, poems may be removed from the site whenever the publisher desires.

The author’s name will be displayed as the sole author of the poem. The author agrees up front that they will not be paid for their poetry. The purpose of this section of our website is to allow you the Disabled Person to publish your poetry. 
We will not edit the poem for spelling or grammar. So whatever way you write it, that is the way it will be published.
